Y tras 9 hrs. de constantes pitidos y frenazos llegamos a AURANGABAD.
DIA 2
Pict.3: With locals in Ellora
Pasamos 5 hrs. visitando monasterios y templos budistas, hinduistas y jainistas, construidos dentro de cuevas.
Pict.4: Buddha in Ellora caves
ENJOYING OURSELVES!!!
In the middle of the fourth day of the trip we are about to start the third stage of the itinerary, AHMEDABAD.
Overcame Mumbai and
The worst till now the pollution and the best, as we expected, food and people.
DAY 1
The arrival in Mumbai was great, without stress in the airport; a hotel driver was waiting for us. We successfully hanged the mosquito nets (see picture 1).
Great first night after sleeping like fakirs, the mattresses are hard like rocks till the moment.
The suburban train has no mysteries for us, though the first conversation with a local socked us a bit because this woman ended up asking us for advice about lesbian relationships. We suppose we answer yes to a non understood question, the English is quite difficult to get.
First shopping and first Masalla in honor of Desi and her successful pregnancy. Full day carrying the backpack.
At
DAY 2
We got a rickshaw driver and headed to Ellora were we visited carved jainist, buddhist and hinduist monasteries and temples on the rock. We really enjoyed the people’s excitement about getting pictures done with us, speccially the kids ( see pictures 3 and 4).
Back in the hotel we enjoyed our first full sleeping night.
DAY 3
We took a taxi to
We ordered chicken and they gave us goat and we suffered the driving back which is even worst at night than at day.
With a mango juice in the stomach back to the fakir-bed.
DAY 4
Relax morning to contact you all and to morally prepare ourselves for the 17 sleeping-bus hours ahead.
Conclusion:We feel at home from the first moment, it seems we are here for ever.
Note: We aprecciate the coments and we will be very happy to get some new ones.
