Escoltadas// Escorted

Lunch with the Prof. Pandey’s Family

ESCORTED

Our expectations about Allahabad were small because our reason to go there was to represent “Psychologists without borders Madrid” in the University of this city.
We found a green, quiet and kind city where members of the cognitive and behavior psychology department fed, hosted, guided and body guarded us. We participated in a seminar and used the facilities of the college and assisted to an event in a rural school where, becoming the honorable members we and the professor we accompanied were used by a group of politicians for their electoral purposes.
All these without paying a dime.
We visited the Nerhu family house, a park where a flower and vegetables festival took pace and we made a sacred offer in the spot where Ganges, Yamuna and the legendary Saraswarty meet, and where every 12 years take place the biggest people concentration “Kumbh Mela”.
It has been an opportunity to learn about high cultural classes in India, among other things.
